Privacy Policy

Blackjack 101 ("the app", "we", "us") is a blackjack strategy trainer. It uses play money only and does not offer real-money gambling. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account: if you choose to sign in, we collect your phone number to authenticate you and sync your data across devices. Signing in is optional — the app is fully playable as a guest.
• Gameplay & progress: your sessions, hands played, decision accuracy, achievements, virtual (play-money) bankroll, learning progress, and cosmetic selections. This is stored on your device and, when signed in, in our cloud so it follows your account.
• Purchases: if you buy an optional upgrade, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We receive your entitlement/purchase status (what you own) through our purchases provider — not your payment card details.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no ads.

How we use it

• To provide the app: authenticate you, save your stats, and sync progress across your devices.
• To operate features you use, such as leaderboards of your own performance, achievements, and restoring purchases.
• To maintain security and prevent abuse of our sign-in and cloud services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers to run the app. Your data may be processed by:

• Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) — sign-in and cloud storage of your gameplay data.
• RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and entitlements.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process payments for any purchases.

These providers handle data under their own privacy policies.

Data storage, retention & security

Data is stored on your device and, if you sign in, on Google Firebase servers. We keep your account data until you delete it. Access is protected so that only you can read or write your own data.

Your choices & rights

• Play as a guest — no account or phone number required.
• Clear stats history — remove your saved sessions and strategy data from within the app.
• Delete your account — the in-app "Delete account" option permanently removes your account and associated cloud data.

Children

Because it simulates casino card play, the app is intended for users aged 17 and older and is rated accordingly. It is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
